Supporting Graph Connect Europe, May 2017
For the third year running, we were delighted to handle event management for the Neo4j Graph Connect Europe event in London, which this year attracted around 800 delegates from across the globe.
Neo4j are providers of world leading graph database technology and Graph Connect Europe is their flagship European event, taking place over 3 days in and comprising of a one-day conference which was held at the QEII Conference Centre, along with a whole host of 'fringe events' at venues across London.
Our role was to support the European marketing team by managing all of the logistics for the conference, including all venue, catering and AV requirements. We also brought in speciality suppliers including the 'Lick me Delicious' ice cream cart, which added a fun dimension to the catering and went down a treat with the delegates!
Over the 3 days we helped to organise a customer dinner at the prestigious Haymarket hotel, and a training day at 'Skills Matter' which included a 'Hackathon' for around 200 digital engineers! We also managed all staff accommodation and related meeting venues and logistics for the week.
It was great to support such a dynamic and forward-thinking team at Neo4j, and to work with them to deliver such a successful series of events.
Neo Technology's EMEA Conference and Connect Clinic
The first week of May 2015 Event Works Europe (EWE) managed Neo Technology's EMEA Conference and Connect Clinic. Managing all aspects of the event logistics including staff accommodation and transport to and from hotel to venue, courier service and catering requirements for up to 450 staff and delegates. Marketing support was also provided sourcing lanyards, voting chips and event flags.
Beginning the week on the Tuesday with a Quarterly Business Review at ETC Venue's St Pauls, for senior staff and accommodation at the Mondrian and Citizen M Hotels. With a Training Day on the Wednesday at Norton Folgate and Partner Dinner at Apex, EWE took care of all catering and accommodation requirements as well as registration of staff and event signage; av requirements, sourcing and preparation of delegate bags
Thursday saw the EMEA Conference for 450 guests at 155 Bishop's Gate, EWE managed the visitor registration, catering and AV requirements and on the floor management.
Friday kicked off with an all company meeting at London Bridge Hotel, followed by a boat trip and lunch on the Thames before visiting the Royal Navel College and Greenwich Observatory. Staff finished off a busy week with a relaxed dinner at Brew Wharf micro-brewery.
The 2nd quarter of 2015 has seen EWE providing complete event management for Ring Central across 4 venues throughout March, April and May.
In March we coordinated their attendance at the E-lite Business Show. We provided a complete Event Management service; sourcing and coordinating the build of the pop up stand to the client's specifications. Liaising with the Venue Management Team to provide all requirements – electrics, tv and stand, internet, as well as management of the online portal.
For April, Ring Central attended the UC Expo London Olympia, EWE coordinated and sourced provision of stand build and booking of electric, internet coffee machine and also identified an opportunity for our client to take part in a Marketing initiative at the show called "A Happy Hour" this brought extra visitors to the stand, along with Magician Sam Strange who entertained visitors with his close up magic.
During May, we managed Ring Central's attendance at The Smart Business Show, Dublin. We arranged accommodation along with sourcing branded clothing for Ring Central staff manning the stand. Using our fantastic industry connections we were able to source and provide all branded promotional items such as umbrella's, pens and jelly beans.
At the Business Show at the London Excel, Ring Central opted for 2 stands on this occasion (1 large, 1 small) as previously we managed the provision and online portal for both stands, while coordinating the stand build for the larger site.
